It's May!

Since we last posted a lot has happened. One of the best ways that we can show you is with our pictures.

• We have been blessed to be able to go camping over spring break with our friends.

• We got rid of my old car but in return we bought a new car. Our new car is called (海 Umi) which means "Sea."

• We said goodbye to our pastors Son and his family who moved to Montana to start a new ministry.

• We have are using our paddle boards more and more! SUP surfing!

• Brittany has been teaching students World Geography and had them make African Masks out of cardboard.

• We are allowed to eat at restaurants and make sure to bring our friends when we try out new restaurants.

• We got a picture with a famous sushi maker Yoshi san.

• We stumbled upon a sunflower farm in our home town where you can pick your own.

We are really enjoying our lives here in Okinawa! And we can't wait for the borders to open for our friends and family to be able to join us here.

Masters Class Update

I just finished my second semester of my masters program which were on Instructional Techniques and Assessment Strategies. OCSI was a big help in being able to utilize some of the strategies that were being referenced.

This upcoming summer I will be taking 3 classes in order to alleviate my schedule for next spring which would be my last semester before I am finished with my masters program.

It feels like my classes just ended and now they are starting up again. They will be ending July 23. Which will leave me with a little bit of breathing room before the Fall semester.

Summer

Is only a few weeks away! Brittany and I are excited for the school year to be over. If you don't know we have decided to stay here in Okinawa. After schools out we will be doing the 3 weeks of Summer school to make some extra money. Can't get away from school we love it so much!

In some of our free time Brittany is planning on bringing me to some new spots that she has promised me. There is still so much to see. Brittany is also thinking about maybe taking some classes too. Can't seem to get free from school work.

We are thinking about traveling a little bit over summer break somewhere in Japan. We are thinking Kyoto but we haven't made any final decisions as of yet.

School

I just finished Field Day this past Friday. It went really well! We were able to invite parents because the weather was beautiful! Here are some pictures below.
