Thanksgiving Break

Weeks before Thanksgiving break there were some many different ideas of what we could do during this break. It was a much needed break because we hadn't had one since we got two weeks off because of Covid in August.

So we decided to get a big turkey and to invite everyone that lives in our apartment complex to see if they would be interested in having a thanksgiving meal with everyone. Around 15 people from our apartment complex showed up and we were able to celebrate in fashion.

Brittany and I were very lucky this thanksgiving break too. We don't particularly know (right now) how to make a turkey. I was pretty confident we could look something up. But we were blessed by a friend who was working for the catering company the school hired to show us how. He also let us use their convection oven in the school which created the most delicious turkey.

After our Thanksgiving Meal we were able to get together with our friends who were still around and rent an airbnb. It was fun to be able to hang out and get a much need break from school.

It is December 1st and we are only just three short weeks away from Christmas Break.

I have started doing a Philippine Folk Dance in my class called Tinikling. It's a dance that uses poles that students can move in and out of.

Here is a video to help you get an idea of how people do it.

We want to thank everyone for their love and support in this ministry! And we hope you had a good thanksgiving with all things considered during this time.
